Whilst every effort will be made to ship healthy animals in the best possible condition, there are
occasions when something goes wrong. For this reason, most animals purchased from Viper & Vine Ltd. carry a 24 hour guarantee.
All claims for dead animals must be made by telephone
within 24 hours of purchase.
Any guarantee
claims must be supported by a digital photograph of the casualty and we may also ask you to return the dead specimen, please
do not dispose of them until we ask you to. Dead specimens can be kept in a small sealed plastic bag in a freezer.
Any animal loss that qualifies for our guarantee will
be replaced or refunded at our discretion.
Guarantees extend only to the value of the livestock and do not cover any related costs..
Certain species are considered delicate and will only
be supplied at the ‘buyers risk’ and with no guarantee. Buyers will be made aware of a animal’s guarantee
status prior to purchase.
Deposits left on livestock secure the animal until the agreed
date of collection. If we are unable to contact the buyer during the 14 days immediately following the collection deadline
then the animal will be sold and the deposit retained. We will also charge a boarding fee of £2.50 per day for each day the
animal remains in our care after the agreed date of collection. In certain circumstances we may agree to extend the collection
deadline if the initial deposit is increased. This subsequent payment forms part of the initial deposit and is not a 'partial
payment'. Failure to collect within 14 days of the revised deadline will result in the loss of the entire monies paid.
